Born and raised in Lexington, Matt grew up hunting and fishing in Central Kentucky—gaining a deep appreciation for the land and the resources that make it so special. Taking this love of place to the built environment, Matt has been in the construction business for over fifteen years, having successfully worked in the fields of concrete and site-work, custom homebuilding, and large-scale commercial contracting in the Bluegrass Region. He also has personal talents in heavy equipment operation, metal work, carpentry, and design.

As a trained mechanical engineer with broad experience in most aspects of the construction industry ranging from complex bid estimation to material fabrication, Matt approaches the building process with creative and calculating know-how—resulting in beautiful projects built to last, on time, and on budget.

Matt earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and is the recipient of the Cummins Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Award.
